EarthSense is the green initiative that Valspar uses across all their business segments. Initially its use was primarily focused within the Architectural segment. However with the increase of Low VOC coatings within the Automotive segment, the use of EarthSense has crossed over.

At Valspar, we are mindful of how we operate our facilities, work to protect employees, the public and the environment by minimizing emissions and waste and promoting recycling.

We are also committed to making environmental improvements to our materials and processes, developing products that minimize environmental impact. We have developed paints and coatings that use water-based formulas instead of solvents, with lower levels of volatile organic compounds (VOC’s).
